The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
This watch got an factory original dial with just small signs of ageing. It is in a very good condition as you can see in the photos.
The case has got some signs of wear and is a bit worn but still very beautiful. As seen, even the caseback is very well preserved with just small signs of wear.
The crown is original but worn out as seen in the photos.
