THE WATCH
It's no secret that we're big fans of 1950s "beefy lugs" Seamasters, and this one has the added charm of a "honeycomb" textured dial – it doesnt get better than this!
Since its introduction in 1948, the Seamaster has been a pillar of the Omega brand. In the collection's 70-year history, Seamasters have been manufactured in many different iterations, from a versatile, everyday timepiece to a robust diver's tool. Here, we have an earlier 1950s Seamaster with a "honeycomb" dial and yellow gold accents with beautiful cupcake-lume. When we look for a Seamaster to wear with just about anything, this reference has to be one of our go-tos - half-dress, half-casual.
The example we have here is most notable due to its very well preserved (100% factory original) "honeycomb" dial. We're always looking for vintage watches with waffle-esque dial textures – it's a feature less often seen in modern watches or anything in between; it's almost exclusively unique to the 1950s. The texture adds a layer of dimension that really pops on the wrist. The dial layout and design is classic for the Seamaster with a small seconds hand at six o'clock and the applied Omega logo at 12 o'clock. A feature we don't see all too often on these watches are the gold dial accents and hands seen here.

The Condition
This is one of a kind!!! Look at this rare piece of art, we have not seen many original honeycomb dials in this condition before!
This Seamaster is in overall great, honest condition. The case is sharp with visible bevels on lugs and light scratches. The caseback step and "Seamaster'' text are clearly visible. . The case condition is overall very nice.
The "honeycomb" textured dial is in great condition and has developed a light patina throughout. The gold hour markers, handset, and Omega logo have a warm overall patina; they really pop off the surface in certain lights.
This is a true stunner and something for the real connoisseur.
The watch is sold "as is" but we leave a 3 months of warranty from date of purchase.
