The Watch
This is a pretty rare Seamaster reference; CK 14760 from the 1960 international ”Calendar” collection. With an elegant stainless steel screw-in case, an aperture on the watch face, a vintage leather watch strap, and automatic movement. And, with the uncommon original Omega crystal with magnification.
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. A stunning vintage Omega Seamaster with the rare 14760 in amazing condition.
The dial is in very good condition despite its age and is really as good as it seems in the pictures - smooth and elegante with just small signs of ageing.
The case is in good condition with beautiful chamfers and lines. The caseback is very well preserved with the seahorse but got some signs of wear- but what to expect for a vintage watch from 1961?
Orignal crown, original rare crystal (logo in centre) and magnification.
