The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
A stunning vintage Omega Seamaster with a rare ”silky” dial configuration.
The dial is flawless and is really as good as it seems in the pictures - silky and elegante. One of the best we we ever seen.
The case is in good condition with small signs of wear - but what to expect for a vintage watch from 1964.
