The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
This is a beauty! Is it one watch you need for the rest of your life - this is it!
Look at the condition of this pristine Omega Automatic Seamaster. The case is a "beefy lugs"/"fat lug"-case in solid 14k gold. The case is very well preserved with sharp lines.
The case have some scratches from use, but just small as you can see in the photos but no deep scratches and dings.
The crown is original and in very good condition.
The dial is the most spectacular detail of this watch - a rare original dial in an outstanding condition. One of the best we have seen!
The crystal is original with the Omega symbol stamped in the centre.
This is a true stunner and something for the real connoisseur.
Fun to know
The watch was owned by a pilot from the town of Växjö, Sweden. Since he passed away in 1989 the watch have been stored in one of his suit pockets that was given to his granddaughter who found it recently.
