In horology, the Constellation is synonymous with art of luxurious precision in its most refined form: a high-performance movement combined with the perfection of an elegant and refined exterior. On the dial: the name Constellation highlighted by an applied gold star. On the case back: the famous medallion featuring an observatory crowned by a constellation of eight stars, evoking the numeros exploits of Omega in world chronometer competition, among which are the famous world precision records set in 1933 and 1936.The constellation stands for proud, luxury and prestige.
The ref. 2943-1 is one of the rarest Constellation-models since the cal. 504 only was made in 25.000 produced. This early version also have the rare spelling "Chronomet're'" instead of the more common "Chronomet'er'".

The Condition
Its hard to believe that this watch is over 60 years old.
The watch is well preserved and in a beautiful original condition despite the age. The original dial is very good even if there is some signs of ageing.
The caseback got some small signs of use and the crystal (original crystal) is like new.
The BoR-bracelet is in good condition but shows signs of wear with some scratches.
