The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.
This Seamaster "De Ville" really is something!!!

The Condition
This really is one of a kind! To be honest, one of the most well preserved watches we have had for a while!
This beautiful Omega Seamaster De ville got a pristine dial with rare and beautiful onyx inlay in every index and hands. Such an amazing combination. The dial is 100% factory original. We hope that the phots speaks for themselves.
The case is unpolished and very well preserved with shap lines and bevels. Its hard to believe that this watch is from 1966, is almost 60 years old. As seen, even the caseback is very well preserved with just small signs of ageing.
The crown is original and so is the crystal with the Omega symbol in centre.
