The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
This Seamaster is in an amazing original condition.
The case is well preserved and in nice condition with original bevels. The case have some small signes from use. The crown is original and in a very good condition.
The dial is 100% factory original and well preserved linen dial. The dial shows different character depending on the light, so beautiful. It got some small signs of ageing and patina but nothing remarkabel as seen in the pictures.
Even the crystal is original with the stamped logo in centre.
