The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
We love every kind of a vintage watch, but we prefer them with unique linen dial configuration - like this one! This watch got an factory original "linen dial" with beautiful and smooth patina. Applied indexes, logo and original “Dauphine” hands. It doesn't get much better! The dial got some signs of ageing as seen in the photos.
The applied details on the dial, as well as the dauphine hands with beautiful developed patina at the lume fits the look on the watch very well and versatility.
The case is well preserved even if it (of course) got some signs from wear and tell us a bit about its history. The crown is original and so is the crystal with the Omega symbol in the centre.
A true stunner!
