The Watch
The Speedmaster might be the watch that made Omega a household name (and took it to the moon), but the Seamaster has been around quite a bit longer and has its own incredible legacy worth talking about.
First released in 1948 in celebration of Omega’s centennial anniversary, the Seamaster became a worldwide success and was the brand’s top seller for a long time. Today, it’s the longest-running name in the Omega catalog and still holds a special place in plenty of collectors’ hearts.
This ref. 2846-2848 1SC definitely deserves that special place. Powered by the workhorse in-house Omega cal. 490 automatic winding movement and featuring a broad-lugged stainless steel case with silver crosshair dial, this watch offers excellent wrist presence and exudes style and history like very few watches can.

The Condition
This is one of a kind!
Look at this beautiful, 100% original black dial Omega Seamaster.
The dial have developed a beautiful, tropical patina that matches the case beautifully. The gold in the case have developed a rainbow patina that matches de dial perfectly. It’s possible to remove the patina from the case but we have preferred it this way (can be removed if the buyer want to).
The case have some signs of wear as seen in the pictures, but still got the original lines and chamfers.
The crystal is original with the logo stamped in centre. So is also the crown.
This particular watch have been with the same owner since 1958 when he bought in on one of his trips to Argentina since he worked as a young man on a ship that transported cars from Sweden to Argentina.
The watch have been professional serviced by Omega certified watchmaker.
*We just noticed that the crown haven’t been pulled in at the case as it should in some of the pictures - sorry for that”.
