The Watch

Louis Brandt (born year 1825) founded an assembly workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds back in 1848 - that was the beginning of OMEGA. His sons; Loius-Paul Brandt and César Brandt further developed the company and were among the first to apply refined mechanical manufacturing procedures to high quality watches.

The year 1894 saw the beginning of the production of the famous Omega calibers, remarkable for its perfect construction. By the end of the second World War Omega is overwhelmed with orders.
