The Watch
Joseph Bulova (Bulowá) emigrated in 1870 to America from Bohe-
mia (the land we new as Czechoslovakia which later became Czech republic and Slovakia). At first, he started a jewellery store in 1875 in the US - a store that along with high end jewellery later would sell their own watch brand Bulova.
In 1971, during the Apollo 15 expedition to the moon a Bulova chronograph was worn by the mission commander David Scott. According to records the astronauts wore Omega Speedmaster during this expedition also but when Scott were to do his second moonwalk the glass loosened on his Speedmaster and was no longer fit to use. For his third moonwalk he had to use his backup watch - a Bulova chronograph! So, he ended up using his private watch on his third moonwalk and it is therefor safe to say that Bulova was the second watch to be worn on the moon surface.
However badly we would want to have a Bulova #88510 01 for sale it is probably totally impossible. According to resources the watch was only mad as a kind of prototype and was not produced in a greater number. But, we do have another amazing Bulova Chronograph for sale it may not have been on the moon surface but most likely under the ocean surface instead.
