We wanted an early model, at least pre-2007, as that’s the year when Rolex changed the dial somewhat and the platinum dial lost the coarse grain and became a bit smoother. We love to see the platinum grain in the summer on this one!
The Yacht-Master was first introduced in 1992 as a full gold watch (reference 16628). The 40mm Yacht-Master ”Rolesium” was presented in 1999 for the 16622. ”Rolesium” is Rolex’ own definition for the use of stainless steel (904L) and platinum (950). Both bezel and the dial of this early Rolex Yacht-Master 16622 is made of platinum - isn’t it a beauty?

The Condition
This Rolex YachtMaster is a stunner! The dial is flawless and beautiful, in our point of view the most undervalued Rolexwatches on the market right now. The dial is original and perfect without any complains. The case and bezel is beautiful with just small signs of wear. The same is for the bracelet that got some small signs but no deep scratches or dings. As you see in the pictures the bracelet is tight and ready to be used.
The movement is recently serviced and under warranty until 22-07-29.
