The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

The Condition
This is a beauty! Look at the condition of this pristine Omega Automatic Seamaster. The case is a "beefy lugs"/"fat lug"-case and is amazing, look at the unpolished chamfers! The case have some scratches from use, but just small as you can see in the photos. The crown is original and in very good condition. The dial is the most spectacular detail of this watch - a rare original dial with beautiful pumpkin-dots. The crystal is original with the Omega symbol stamped in the centre. This is a true stunner and something for the real connoisseur.
