The Watch
The City Professional Automatic is an interesting Swedish-Swiss vintage dive watch from the 1970s that has become popular among collectors of so-called “Monnin divers.” The City brand was sold in Sweden by JP Brandt AB, while the case was manufactured by the Swiss case maker MRP SA (Monnin).
MRP SA (Monnin) supplied the same basic case design to several brands, including Tudor, Heuer and other manufacturers. As a result, the City Professional shares many design characteristics with much more expensive dive watches from the same era.

The Condition
Searching for a nice and affordable diver? This is it! A very nice vintage City Professional with original dial, well preserved case.
The case is made by MRP SA/Monnin with the correct Brevet stamps.
The bezel works perfectly and ”tick” as it should. The dial is 100% original and have developed a beautiful patina as seen in the pictures.
The crystal got some signs of wear and some cracks due to age. Since it still is the original one we have decided to not replace it.
The watch have not been tested by us under pressure so we do not leave any warranty for waterproofing of old vintage watches.
