The Watch
Zenith SA is a Swiss luxury watchmaker. The company was started in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot at the age of 22, in Le Locle and is one of the Swiss watch manufacturers that still produce their own movements in-house.
Zenith is most of all famous for thiere chronometer movements - its caliber 135 notably winning the chronometer competition from the Neuchatel Observatory for nothing less than 5 years in a row, from 1950 to 1954. The 40T is of smaller dimensions but displays the same level of quality and precision as 135. The 40T might come in a 33 mm case, but you are looking at a glorious time-only watch of the highest level, as ground-breaking today as it was upon its release in the 1950s.
