The Watch
This collection of super-water-resistant diver’s watches was launched in the spring of 1988, just before the Seoul Olympic Games, of which Omega was the official timekeeper.
The Seamaster Professional 200m was associated with the Faré Mission of the 25th of July 1988, organised by IFREMER. In this expedition, the scientific submarine Nautile dived to a depth of 4.400 metres in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean to fix a surveillance module for monitoring seismic movements.

The Condition
Original case, dial, bezel and bracelet. Lovely cream patina at index and the more uncommon “sword hands”. Some scratches and signs of wear at the bezel. The bezel is smooth. The bracelet also got some signs of wear - but What to expect of a Pre-Bond divers watch? The crown is original and the crown threads without problems.
