The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
This watch is a nice example of a classic vintage Omega Constellation Pie-Pan with the twelve-sided silvered dial, polished, facetted gold hour markers, polished and bevelled gold Dauphine hands, lyre-shaped lugs and 14-carat gold Observatory medallion on the case back.
The dial have been ageing beautifully and devoloped a beautiful patina. The oringal strap and buckle is in very good condition despite its age.
