On the dial: the name Constellation highlighted by an applied gold star. On the case back: the famous medallion featuring an observatory crowned by a constellation of eight stars, evoking the numeros exploits of Omega in world chronometer competition, among which are the famous world precision records set in 1933 and 1936.The constellation stands for proud, luxury and prestige.
The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.
