The Watch
Tissot SA was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Félicien (Madhav) Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile Tissot, in 1853.
Tissot introduced the first mass-produced pocket watch as well as the first pocket watch with two time zones in 1853 and the first anti-magnetic watch, in 1929–30. The Tissot company was also the first to make watches out of plastic (Idea 2001 in 1971), stone (the Alpine granite Rock Watch in 1985) and wood (the Wood watch in 1988).

The Condition
This vintage Tissot must be one of the best we ever seen. Look at that dial!
It is in a lovely condition with an amazing dial which has an applied rare number design. The hands are really beautifully aged. As you can see, the dial is in a very good condition and so is also the case.
There is some small signs of wear and ageing (but what to expect on a watch thats more than 70 years old?).
