Movado was founded in 1881 in a small watchmakers shop in Chaux -de-Fonds. The name is sprung from the international language Esperanto and means active.

The case is in a lovely, unpolished condition with sharp edges. There is some small signs of wear at the lugs and caseback, but as you can see, the case is amazing considering the age of this watch.
The crystal (plexi) is in very good condition with just small, small signs of use. This rare watch really is as nice as it looks in the pictures.
