The Watch

Oversized Longines Military watches are quite beautiful. Paired with a brown leather strap, some nice boots and denim you’re guaranteed a bad-ass look. This watch is full of character and patina, showing how well this piece has aged through time.

This one features blued steel hands, that shine beautifully under the sunlight. Also, it’s powered by a caliber 12.68Z and beating at 18000bph.

The dial is marked: ”Suiza”, Suizas are like the Fab. Suisse dials - marked because the importing country had a law that required the country of origin to be signed on the dial. This watch was aimed for Argentina in the 1940’s. What if a watch could talk?!

The Condition

This watch have probably been through a lot. You have to keep in mind that this watch was made in 1947. In our point of view the dial is amazing and full av character, it has what we are searching for in a vintage watch; original dial with patina, blue steel hands and a subdial. The case is thick and big with its uncommon 35 mm case. The case got marks from use (it may have been a part of the military but we don't t know for sure). The crown is signed. The hands have probably been re-lumed at some point.

The service history is unknown but the timekeeping is very good and the powerreserv is long - but what else to expect  with the amazing cal. 12.68z?
