Why buy a Rolex when you can go for a Tudor Rolex?
In fact, Tudor was founded by the same man who founded Rolex – Hans Wilsdorf. The idea of Tudor was to offer the same built quality as a Rolex watch but at a lower price. The company would achieve this by using Rolex watch parts, but equipping them with off-the-shelf movements rather than in-house calibers.
In 1936 the iconic Tudor rose logo that is now loved and recognized by collectors and enthusiasts started appearing on the dials. The rose logo was originally inscribed within a shield, which is also a symbol that is strongly associated with Tudor today. The rose inside the shield was meant to symbolize the invincible union of strength – the watch’s robustness – with grace – the beauty of its lines.

The Condition
This is a stunner. We often see watches in good condition and sometimes we see watches that hardly been worn - this is one of them. This Black Bay Chrono from Tudor is in a very good condition with just small, small signs of use. There is some super thin marks on the bracelet/clasp but nothing really to talk about. The bracelet got all the linkparts. It really is as nice as it looks in the pictures.
