The Watch
The most iconic watch within Jaeger-LeCoultre production must be the Reverson. The watch that can be used both at the tenniscourt and as a classy timepiece to the suit. The idea for this watch was sprung from the Swiss bussinessman and watchenthusiast César de Trey in the year 1931. He played in a game of Polo with brittish officer where one officer complained about the glass on his watch becoming ruined during tha game. The armyofficer challenged de Trey to create a watch that was robust enough to last several games of Polo as well as classy enough to be worn when the time came to celebrate the winners of the game.
