The Watch
Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon S.A., or simply Longines is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832. Longines winged hourglass logo, which was registered in 1889, is the oldest unchanged yet still active registered trademark.
In 1969 Longines started a top-secret project, the aim of which was to design and manufacture a quartz watch, the first cybernetic quartz caliber L6512. From there Longines took its next step - they started a collaboration with Ebauche Sa. As a product of that collaboration our watch was made.
