The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
This amazing vintage Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer Pie-pan has a caliber 564, twelve-sided silvered dial, polished, facetted, and riveted silver hour markers with a black line, silver date window, Dauphine hands, centre seconds and screwed case back. All in a lovely condition.
The dial is in a very good condition with just small, small signes of ageing. Beautiful onyx inlay in both hands and index’.
The case got signs of wear but as you see, the case is still in good condition with sharp bevels and beautiful lines.
Overall, this is a lovely 168.005 - ready to be used for many years!
