The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
Its hard to believe that this watch is over 60 years old.
The original dial is in very good condition with black inlay in every index. 100% original!
The case and caseback got some signs of use. The crystal is original with the Omega symbol stamped in centre. It is in very good condition with just some small signs of wear but nothing remarkable.
The watch really is as nice as it looks in the pictures.
