The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
The watch is well preserved and in a lovely condition despite the age. The original dial is in good condition with just small signs of wear and ageing. Beautiful index with black inlay.
The case and crystal got some thin, small signs of wear. There are small signs of wear and opening in the caseback. The case have been polished but is still in a nice vintage condition. What more to ask for from a watch that is over 50 years old?
The crown is original Omega signed. Even the crystal is original with the omega symbol in the center.
