The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. The large size medallion (19 mm diameter) was first introduced in 1958, the same year as this watch was made.

What we know: We are the second owner of this beautiful watch. We have been told that the watch was purchased new in 1965 in Sweden. The owner bought it for himself as a gift for his and his wife’s marriage the same year and was only used in special occasions.
The Condition
This Seamaster is in a very nice vintage condition. The case is well preserved with original, sharp lines and unpolished caseback. It has some small scratches from use.
The crown is original Omega signed and correct for the reference.
The crystal is a original Omega crystal with the Omega symbol stamped in center.
The dial got some small signs of ageing with a some small marks as seen in the photos.
The strap is original and so is the buckle. The strap is a bit worn so we include an extra, new, leather strap.
The original box is very well preserved.
