The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
This watch is an amazing example of perfect example of vintage Omega Constellation Pie-Pan with the twelve-sided dial, facetted gold hour markers, polished and bevelled gold Dauphine hands, lyre-shaped lugs and a solid 18k gold case. Observatory medallion on the case back.
This dial is one of the best we have seen for long time, the dial is flawless!!! The case is sharp and well preserved with small signs of use. The caseback got some signs from being open.
