The Watch
Vintage watches are so much more than just watches. They are about research, historical knowledge and ever so much enthusiasm. That is why this watch ticks all our boxes.
Omega have throughout the years made tons and tons of dialconfigurations; honeycomb dial, linen dial, tapestry dial, wave dial, shell dial, hobnail dial and so on. One of more rare dials is the one we now can present to you; a waffle dial. We have only seen a few single examples of this dial model with the same reference, dial and caliber number, through the years. That makes us extra glad to be able to present it to you!
It is, however not only uncomplicated to have a rare watch. In these situations a bell of warning should ring to question if it truly was presented in the same appearance when it first left the production in 1962 as it is now . If you thuroughly review the font of "Omega" and "swiss made" down at 6 there are no indications that states that it is Not the original dial. If you furthermore add the number of variants of dials that Omega have produced over the years, two undependant watchmakers examination, the look of the front and back of the case along with the technical difficulty of producing a dial like this, we are convinced this watch with its waffle dial is correct.
