The Watch
Here we have a particularly charming Omega Seamaster ref. 14765 from circa 1962, featuring a beautiful and increasingly sought-after silver linen dial.
The original dial has a finely textured linen finish that changes character with the light and has developed an attractive, honest patina over more than six decades. Applied and faceted baton hour markers are paired with steel sword-shaped hour and minute hands and a slender central seconds hand. A double marker at 12 o’clock provides subtle balance, while the restrained dial signature – applied Omega logo and OMEGA AUTOMATIC above, with the classic Seamaster script at six – gives the watch the wonderfully clean symmetry associated with early-1960s Omega design.
Importantly, this is an early Seamaster and predates the later Seamaster De Ville designation seen on many similar monocoque models.
The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop and is running beautifully. It is supplied on a dark blue leather strap, although the silver linen dial also pairs exceptionally well with both black and brown leather.

The Condition
There is something particularly appealing about these early, rare, no-date Seamasters. The absence of a date window allows the linen dial to take centre stage, while the simple applied markers and restrained typography give the watch an almost effortless elegance.
The unusual textured dial is what makes this example stand apart. Combined with the early ref. 14765 case, excellent calibre 552 and freshly serviced movement, it represents exactly the kind of vintage Omega we enjoy finding: original, characterful and just a little different from the ordinary.
The dial is, as seen in the photos, marvelous. The dial is an original, 100% factory original linen dial with just small signs of ageing.. The dial shows different character depending on the light and angle.
The case is well preserved and in nice condition with original and sharp lines. The case have some small scratches from use of course but is in very good condition due to its age. The crown is original.
The watch is sold with our 12-month service warranty. As with all vintage watches of this age, water resistance is not guaranteed.
