The name Constellation was suggested to Adolphe Vallat, Omega’s sales manager, by Bruno Passoni, a sales representative of Carlo De Marchi, Omega’s general agent for Italy.

The Condition
It's hard to believe that this watch is over 50 years old. The watch is well preserved and in an a beautiful condition despite the age. The original dial is in good condition with small signs of ageing and patina. The case got some small signs of wear. The case is well preserved. The crown is a no-name hidden crown that have lost a bit of the golden colour but works without any problem. The crystal is original with the Omega symbol in the centre. The watch really is as nice as it looks in the pictures.
