The Watch

The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. The large size medallion (19 mm diameter) was first introduced in 1958, the same year as this watch was made.

It's not everyday you come across an Omega Seamaster with a beautiful linen-finished dial. This example is in amazing condition  - the perfect dress watch. The dial is amazing, we would say outstandig - we hope the pcitures shows what we mean.

The Condition

This rare vintage Omega Seamaster with amazing dial is a stunner. The gold in steel case is well preserved despite the age, the caseback is like new. The linen dial shimmer beautiffuly and changes character in differnt light. There is some small signs of ageing but nothing remarkable - its easy to forget that this watch is over 50 years old. The second hand have probably been re-finished since it appears as steel/light white.
