Compagnie des Montres Longines Francillon S.A., or simply Longines is a Swiss luxury watchmaker based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832. Longines winged hourglass logo, which was registered in 1889, is the oldest unchanged yet still active registered trademark.
The Longines Flagship was introduced in 1957 and was supposed to represent tradition, elegance and performance.

The Condition
This rare vintage Longines is in a great condition despite its age. The case is in good condition with very few scratches - almost none. The crown is not original but fits the watch very good. The dial is original and is very well preserved. The hands may have been re-lumed at some time. The service history of the watch is unknown, but the watch keeps time and got long powerreserv.
