The watch
Jules Jurgensen is one of those watch companies that sadly have been forgotten. The company was founded by Jürgen Jürgensen in 1773 in Denmark. Then Jürgen Jürgensen went into partnership with Isaac Larpent, under the name "Larpent & Jürgensen".
This is a fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, water resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, register and tachymeter. Straight lugs, screwed down case back. Black dial with applied luminous white baton indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 45 minute register, outer minute/second divisions, outermost tachometer scale.

The Condition
This is one of a kind! To find a well preserved Jules Jurgensen chronograph with original leather box is rare - find one with the paper outer box is even more rare. This vintage chronograph is in a lovely condition as you can see. There are some signs of use at the case and caseback but nothing remarkable. The crystal got some small signs from use. Besides that - this really is something. Black dial with applied luminous white baton indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 45 minute register, outer minute/second divisions, outermost tachometer scale.
The leather box is well preserved, the outer paper box is in good condition but got some scars and have been damaged on one side.
