The Watch
The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. In 1954, 50 cases equipped with O-ring gaskets were submitted to a succession of extremely severe tests, both in the factory and at the Swiss Laboratory for Watchmaking Reswarch. Each case perfectly resisted pressures of 6 kg/cm2 (corresponding to a depth of 60 metres) and temperatures from -40 C to +50 C, all without showing any trace of water infiltration or humidity.

This watch got an factory original dial with just small signs of ageing. It is in a very good condition as you can see in the photos. The hands may have been relumed at some point but have, as seen, developed a yellow/brown/green-ish colour.
The case has got some small signs of wear but is overall in a pristine condition with original and sharp bevels (see photos), unpolsihed! As seen, even the caseback is flawless with just small signs of wear. The crown is original aswell.
A true stunner!
