The Watch

Louis Brandt (born year 1825) founded an assembly workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds back in 1848 - that was the beginning of OMEGA. His sons; Loius-Paul Brandt and César Brandt further developed the company and were among the first to apply refined mechanical manufacturing procedures to high quality watches.

The year 1894 saw the beginning of the production of the famous Omega calibers, remarkable for its perfect construction. With the end of the second World War Omega is overwhelmed with orders. In this period this rare Omega was made!

Its hard to understand that this Omega was made 1947, for 73 years ago. The original sector dial is, despite its age, in a good condition as you can see. Of course; there is some patina but what more to ask for? The solid 14k gold case got some signs of wear but no deep scratches or deep marks. The crown is Omega signed and in good condition. Even the crystal is original!
