Louis Brandt (born year 1825) founded a assembly workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds back in 1848 - that was the beginning of OMEGA. His sons; Loius-Paul Brandt and César Brandt further developed the company and were among the first to apply refined mechanical manufacturing procedures to high quality watches.
The year 1894 saw the beginning of the production of the famous Omega calibers, remarkable for its perfect construction. With the end of the second World War Omega is overwhelmed with orders.

This rare and big size vintage art deco Omega, is a stunner. The watch is in a great condition considering the age, its hard to believe this is 88 year old!
The case is amazing, probably unpolished with all lines well preserved. The dial is original and unbelievable due to its condition. There is some small signs of ageing but over all - this dial is one of the best We ever seen on a watch from the 1930’s.
